Evenings on Du Musée Avenue X Ben Shemie

Get set for a summer of dancing with the return of our evening gatherings on Du Musée Avenue! Every summer, this side street within the MMFA complex is transformed into a pedestrian oasis and entertainment site. And this year’s super-charged program of art-inspired music is no different! 

Join us with friends or as a family for some dancing, fun and refreshments at these stand-out events. 

• For the second edition of this summer series, Du Musée Avenue will light up with the sounds of Ben Shemie, better known as the singer and guitarist of the art-rock group Suuns. The dreamlike psychedelic sounds of his eletro and experimental pop music will take you to another place.
  He will perform from 7 to 8 p.m.
• DJ Raven, member of the band La Sécurité, will also be performing. With over 15 years of experience behind the decks, she has ignited dance floors in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Austin, and Berlin with her eclectic mix of styles, including rock, punk, funk, new wave, and experimental.
  Two sets are scheduled, from 5 to 7 p.m., and 8 to 8:30 p.m.
