Celebrate summer on Du Musée Avenue! Every summer, this side street within the MMFA complex is transformed into a pedestrian oasis and entertainment site. And this year’s super-charged program of art-inspired music is no different.
Join us with friends or as a family for some dancing, fun and refreshments at these stand-out events.
ON THE PROGRAM
Bring the whole family to enjoy our last event on Du Musée Avenue. For the occasion, Festival Quartiers Danses is putting on a fun and interactive workshop show called Insectoïdes.
Evoking both the scurrying speed and sensing antennas of insects, Insectoïdes is a quirky, organic symphony of the fluid yet disjointed movements of these creepy-crawly creatures. In this choreography by Pauline Gervais, two dancers invite families to move through the fascinating world of insects.
Brimming with art materials, the Artcycle will also be making the rounds on site. Our mediators will run two outdoor workshops for families to give children of all ages and their parents the chance to learn about art and creativity.
