The musical traditions of Iran and Peru are explored here through a contemporary lens, marrying the languages, techniques, and aesthetics of these ancient musical practices. The resulting dialogue creates a music in which the sonorities of Persian classical music are combined with the rich musical blend of Quechua, Aymara, and Spanish cultures.
