Guy Fournier is an author, producer, director and television host. Over the course of his career he has, on his own or in collaboration, written over 300 hours of French-language television drama for Radio-Canada and the CBC, including the series Trudeau, L’or et le papier, L’ombre de l'épervier and Jamais deux sans toi. He has also written comedy for theatre and published numerous books, including Un homme au fourneau, which was awarded Or by Cuisine Canada (now Taste Canada) in its French language books category (2001). In addition, he conceived two shows for the Canada Pavilion at Vancouver’s Expo 86 world’s fair, has written and produced feature length films – Fantastica, Maria Chapdelaine and Mon amie Max – and directed the Just for Laughs galas, and theatre productions, including Je t’aime clé en main. For the past 14 years, he has been a media columnist for Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec.

Élise Turcotte is a poet, novellist and essayist. She has published several poetry books, including Piano mélancolique, La forme du jour and À mon retour. Her novels, notably Le bruit des choses vivantes, La maison étrangère, Guyana and L’apparition du chevreuil, have earned her critical acclaim and multiple prestigious awards. Autoportrait d’une autre, her latest title, was published by Éditions Alto in 2023 and won Grand Prix du livre de Montréal. In 2024, she was honoured with the Prix Athanase-David for her outstanding contribution to Quebec literature. Élise Turcotte lives in Montreal.

Carlos de Laborde Yturbe is a board member of an educational non-profit organization and is actively involved in the arts community. He holds a Diploma in Economics and Finance from Université de Lausanne and an MBA from IPADE Business School, in Mexico. Some forty years ago, Bridget Tichenor introduced him to Alan Glass, who became his best teacher. Together, they discussed everything from painting to sculpture to literature, and poetry. de Laborde Yturbe is particularly fond of Surrealism, owing to its political and artistic scope in society. He believes that curiosity and the capacity to marvel are the seeds of all intellectual and spiritual expression. Carlos de Laborde Yturbe lives in Mexico City.

Benoît Chaput was born in Montreal in 1960. He is the founding editor of the poetry publishing house L’Oie de Cravan, and has designed most of the books under the label since its inception in 1992. Chaput has published several books of his own poetry, both through L’Oie de Cravan and other publishers. His writing has also been published in various magazines. Since 2016, he has been hosting the poetry and music radio show The Sleepy King on CKUT.
