Flore Laurentienne - Special event

Following its residency at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the group Flore Laurentienne will be taking to the stage at Bourgie Hall to present a grand-scale concert incorporating both electronic and acoustic instruments, including a string quartet, a clarinet ensemble, percussion instruments, and even a harpsichord! Audience members will have the opportunity to hear works from the ensemble’s first two albums specially rearranged for the occasion, as well as witness the premiere of new compositions.

Flore Laurentienne results from a unique interweaving of electronic and classically influenced music. The project is committed to constantly redefining the boundaries between musical genres such as ambient, experimental and progressive rock.
