About Hua Li
Singer, rapper and keyboardist Hua Li is a Montreal-based second-generation Chinese-Canadian who never fails to impress. Her phrasing, by turns subversive, funny and relentless, is set to music blending elements of hazy R&B, hip-hop, jazz and electro. A flamboyant artist, she made a name for herself with her albums Yellow Crane (2020) and, more recently, ripe fruit falls but not in your mouth (2024).
