Bourgie Hall presents

Bach, Shostakovich, and Stradivarius with Antoine Tamestit

Les Violons du Roy 2022-2023

An eclectic programme featuring, for the first time with Les Violons du Roy, French violist Antoine Tamestit playing a Stradivarius built in 1672. A perfect opportunity to appreciate the warm tones of the viola, rarely assigned to a solo role, in a programme that boldly intersects and connects the 18th and 20th centuries.
