THE MONOCHROME PARTY: A new evening event series at the MMFA
One Wednesday each month, from 5 to 9 p.m., the Museum is hosting a Monochrome Party: a colour-filled celebration around a theme presented in the galleries of the exhibition Nicolas Party : L'heure mauve.

On offer: a visit of the exhibition at half price, a DJ set by OJBP, a coloured cocktail ($), a creative workshop, an insect tasting and a photobooth. At 7 p.m., it’s on to Cinéma du Musée to see a compilation of short films by Jean Painlevé, which Nicolas Party himself selected for the occasion: Hyas and Stynorhynchus, The Sea Urchins, The Sea Horse and The Vampire.
Visitors wearing a green outfit or accessory – the colour theme of this first event – will get a 10% discount on the purchase or renewal of an MMFA membership, plus three extra months free*.
