Musicians of the OSM - Music for Piano and Winds

Musicians of the OSM 2022-2023

More than two hundred years separate Mikhail Glinka, who wrote his Trio pathétique when Beethoven was still alive, and Sofia Gubaidulina, the present-day grande dame of new music. Between these two temporal poles, musicians of the OSM perform a kaleidoscope of Russian Romantic works by Ippolitov-Ivanov, Glazunov, and Rimsky-Korsakov, in different instrumental combinations ranging from duo to quintet.

In collaboration with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal
