Triptyque — Mécénat Musica Prix 3 Femmes

Société de musique contemporaine du Québec

Opera as you've never seen it! Three Canadian composers and three librettists, winners of the Mécénat Musica Prix 3 Femmes invite us to discover 3 new operas created during the pandemic: Plaything, a dark comedy and societal fable echoing the Julian Assange affair; Justine et les machine, a writer struggles with her writer's block and invokes her favourite 19th century composer Augusta Holmes via an old typewriter; and Vanishing Point, a poignant intergenerational drama on dementia and radical love. Don't miss this unprecedented lyrical evening with notes and words which echo our tormented times.
