Body in Motion

How does a body express what’s going on inside? The way the human body moves, its myriad shapes and the ways it changes over time, is a subject that has fascinated sculptors from time immemorial. A conduit of emotion, the body is moulded by the artist’s intentions.

In this visit to the Museum, students will learn some basic sculpture techniques and then experiment with modelling a figure.
