The Art Hive
A creative space for everyone that’s free
Whether on your own or with your family, community or school group, come and enjoy meeting people and sharing ideas, while stimulating your creativity at the same time!
What is an Art Hive?
An Art Hive is a creative community studio supervised by an art therapist and a museum facilitator where art materials are provided free of charge. It also makes various tools and recycled materials available, enabling you to express yourself freely through art.

Uniquely museum-based
The MMFA’s Art Hive is the only one established in a museum. It’s part of the International Art Hives Network (arthives.org), a community organization whose influence extends throughout the world.
Our thanks for this creative space go to the Rossy Family Foundation, whose financial support made the Art Hive possible at the MMFA.
