The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) is pleased to present a concert at Bourgie Hall on October 4, at 7.30 p.m., featuring one of the Far North’s most fascinating traditions: Inuit throat singing. Entitled Into the Northwest Passage in Story and Song, the concert is being presented as part of the 21st Inuit Studies Conference organized by the Université du Québec and Concordia University. It will showcase the vocal talents of the duo Siqiniup Qilauta, whose members are Lynda Brown and Heidi Langille, accompanied by singer-songwriter David Newland.
