Le Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal, Magnéto et La puce à l’oreille lancent la série balado LA VIE SECRÈTE DE L’ART

The MMFA is opening a new space designed for creative teenagers and young adults: the WKSHP 15-20. On Wednesdays and Sundays, this creative studio will open its doors to young people aged from 15 to 20 who wish to socialize, relax and express themselves in a stimulating and safe space.

Conceived by the MMFA in collaboration with the Museum’s Youth Committee and its community organization partners, the WKSHP 15-20 offers the young a place made to measure for them. It provides the participants with art materials (paints, felt pens, clay, various supports, screen-printing unit, cameras, etc.) and digital tools (computers, printers, projectors, green screen, etc.) to express themselves in their own way. The WKSHP 15-20. also comprises a lounge area, a bookshelf and display surfaces to exhibit artworks of every kind: everything the young people may need to have fun, interact and create in a positive atmosphere.

Opening hours*: Wednesdays, 3 to 8 pm | Sundays 1 to 4 pm
Admission: Free of charge. No previous experience of art is required!

*Outside the opening hours for the general public, the WKSHP 15-20 will also be available free of charge, with reservation, to social and community organizations that wish to offer their clients an inspirational creative environment.
