Metamorphoses: In Rodin's Studio opens at the Groninger Museum
The MMFA’s exhibition METAMORPHOSES: IN RODIN’S STUDIO has arrived at the fourth stop of its international tour, at the Groninger Museum, Netherlands, where it will be on display until April 30, 2017.
Already seen by 400,000 visitors in Montreal, Richmond, Virginia, and Salem, Massachusetts, this exhibition dedicated to Augustin Rodin in Groningen features some 140 bronzes, marbles and plasters, as well as sketches, and unpublished photographs that reveal the creative process of this great master of sculpture. Visitors will be able to admire a number of Rodin’s masterpieces, including The Thinker and The Kiss. This is the largest Rodin exhibition ever to be presented in the Netherlands.
METAMORPHOSES: IN RODIN’S STUDIO is produced and circulated by the MMFA, in collaboration with the Musée Rodin, Paris.
