Michel de la Chenelière appointed Member of the Order of Canada

The Museum congratulates Michel de la Chenelière on his recent appointment to the Order of Canada! Announced by the Governor General, this honour underscores the MMFA Vice-President’s contribution to French-language publishing and his philanthropic dedication to education, the arts and culture. Mr. Chenelière will officially receive his insignia next year at a ceremony to be held at Rideau Hall, Ottawa. Created in 1967, the Order of Canada pays tribute twice a year to individuals whose service shapes our society.
