MMFA’s Association of Volunteer Guides welcomes 400 docents from all parts of North America
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) and its Association of Volunteer Guides (AVG) are pleased to contribute to the presentation of the 2017 National Docent Symposium, taking place in Montreal from October 12 to 15. More than 400 docents from across North America are expected to attend this biennial international symposium.
Every two years, the National Docent Symposium chooses a host museum in a different city and, this year, Montreal and the MMFA had the honour of being selected. The organization chose Montreal for its cultural vitality, highlighted by the city’s 375th anniversary celebrations and Canada’s sesquicentennial.
