This Fall’s New Exhibitions, Opening in September
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) is pleased to announce the exciting program for its 2019 fall exhibitions, which will showcase secrets from Ancient Egypt, reflect our evolving identities, and highlight the incredible similarities and differences of art created throughout the world and throughout time. Don’t miss this must-visit cultural program in fall 2019.
“No matter what the time period or place, identity has always raised questions and ignited passions, and archaeologists, collectors and artists are the ones who ask these questions surrounding identity, otherness, gender, and citizenship. Before the opening of our new The Arts of One World Wing in November, our exhibitions will become a place of intersection for perspectives from the ancient and modern worlds,” explained Nathalie Bondil, Director General and Chief Curator of the MMFA.
