SUMMER AND FAMILY AT THE MUSEUM!

Every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., families can visit the Museum’s collections for free and explore their creativity in one of our workshops designed specially for parents and children. Admission is free for adults accompanying youth aged 17 and under. This offer allows you to visit all the pavilions and exhibitions on view at the Museum, with the exception of Saints, Sinners, Lovers and Fools: Three Hundred Years of Flemish Masterworks.

Available for free at the entrance to the exhibition, this fun workbook guides children in their observation and discovery of the hidden details in the early artworks on display! Admission is free for ages 25 and under (1).

In this workshop for the whole family, participants are invited to use their wildest imagination to create a bold collage scene. Note that young children will need ongoing supervision during the activity. Monday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Included with admission

This summer, take advantage of the return of the highly popular Artcycle to discover our outdoor creative workshops! All summer long, you can join our mediators for these engaging creative activities in various parks and public venues around Montreal. Brimming with materials, the MMFA’s Artcycle gives children of all ages, accompanied by a parent, the chance to try their hand at art and see how fun it is.

This tool allows children with autism aged 6 years and up (accompanied by an adult or family members) to appreciate artworks through sensory exploration. The pack consists of large tote bag filled with calming toys, drawing materials and activity sheets they can complete as they tour the galleries of the Pavilion for Peace. Free
